*About Edith*
Hello! I’m Edith Mũita, a retired educator with a life-long craft obsession. I crochet, weave, sew and tailor, embroider, hand dye yarn and, of course, hand knit prolifically. My knitting journey took a major leap a few years ago when I met Nancy and Susie at Provisions Kenya. For the first time, I found a reliable source of hand spun sheep’s wool and I have not looked back since! I knit everything, from top to toe, from hats to cardigans, jackets, and socks, and my current favourite projects are shawls and wraps. I am passionate about creating beautiful hand crafted and unique/one of a kind pieces that will stand the test of time! I have had the great good fortune of having customers not only from Kenya but around the globe. As a former teacher, I really enjoy passing on my crafting knowledge and skills on to others and occasionally give knitting and fibre arts lessons. I hope my creations warm your heart!
